Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo

I really wanted to like this book. It had a lot of great qualities. It had an intense plot, compelling characters, and a unique story concept. I loved how the story began and I was really excited to read on about the characters that I already found myself drawn to. I was a little disappointed though. About half-way through the book, it really started to drag. There were chapters upon chapters of the same problem repeating over and over and over with no change and I found myself losing interest. It was a really promising story, and I understand why some people like it, but it wasn’t my favorite, and I don’t think I will read the next one.
