Hello, fellow book nerds!

As we all know, the COVID-19 situation is affecting everyone and many of us are feeling a mixture of hectic anxiety and boredom – especially kids! Well, in my opinion, there is no better cure for boredom than a book. That’s why I decided to start creating read aloud videos for kids. Read aloud time has always been a very important time in my classroom. It bonds us as we’re able to delve into a fictional world together. We learn together and go on adventures! We geek out together. We ship characters together. Read aloud was a time I was not willing to let go of, so we are making it work with videos.

If you know of a child who is missing story time at school, check out my YouTube channel where I will be posting videos DAILY. Some of these videos will feature picture books, BUT most of them will be chapters of Aurella the Witch! Yep, I’m gonna try to get through the entire book, chapter-by-chapter, by the end of May.
